Hi All, this is my blog.
I believe in the following things.
Short term dreams:
1) To be a extremely gd player for bridge in 2 yrs time
2) To make myself a better person, treat people around me nicer, make the world a better place
Long term dreams:
1) Making my first million by age 35
Quote:
if u were to improve ourselves by just 1% every day, over 1 year, you will have improved yourself by about 500%....wow...that is making yourself 5 times a better person than today...
Life is a short journey, treasure it and lead a happy one.

Asean over again, Yet again Third
This year Asean had been quite fun, had plenty of fun, jus a pity my side finished 3rd. But overall, was a very satisfying tournament, brought my team closer together and enhanced our team spirit. This will encourage us to work even hard and emulate the best bridge players in Singapore. I probably will not blog abt all the exciting bridge hands here, too many, and too much for the faint hearted, the amount of stress your p puts u in is tremendous, the pressure on u to deliver, everything was so impt.
The round robin was pretty straightforward, my team swept to 11 straight wins and got 238 out of 275 VPs, and if u are wondering that is how many, it will be 21.63 VP per round, excluding the bye, first time i got such a high average, and also credit to the great effort by my team, i will have to say rommy and desmond play extremely well, and also gilbert and peiyi were vital to our success. In fact, i would think rommy played the best, imo, but other ppl might say likewise.
In bridge, i tink it is v impt to recognise the contributions of your team, no man is an island, everyone is vital. And more often than not, we quarrel with each other over some misplayed contracts which disrupt the harmony of the team. In bridge, u can do 99 right things out of 100, but jus 1 wrong mistake, ppl will remember u for that, forgetting that u did do 99 things right.
